Suilaid! Alassante eneth nîn! Or for you non-Sindarin folks, Greetings, my name is Alassante.
I have been writing Het only Lord of the Rings fanfiction since November
2004. I also started dabbling in Silmarillion fiction in 2006. I am a
huge fan of the House of Finwe - all those naughty ones, Feanor,
Curufin, Caranthir, Celegorm, Celebrimbor, Maeglin, plus the not so
naughty ones like Fingolfin. I also love Glorfindel, Elrohir, and
Elladan. I am a huge Noldork (fan of Noldo elves).The Ainur are
fascinating as well - Varda, Manwe, Ulmo, Osse, Annatar,and yes, even
Melkor. Melkor and Annatar might be bad but they are still fun. I used
to be a major Legolas fan but once I was exposed to book verse and the
Silmarillion, my love for Legolas dwindled. But movie verse I
love Legolas, Galadriel, Aragorn, and Eomer. I also like book verse
Theodred and Thranduil.
All
of my stories are posted on Open Scrolls Archive (OSA) and some are on
Stories of Arda (SoA), Fanfiction.net, HASA, SWG, and my Writing Live
Journal.
I was a volunteer for the 2006 My Precious Awards (MPAs). I was pleased to make it to the semi-finals in the 2006 Mithril with one story (posted on OSA only) I also won awards in MEFAs in 2006, 2008, and 2009 and was nominated in 2007. Please click on my awards page to see them all.
